Benington School was inspected on the 19th June 2018. This was a short one day section 8 inspection. The inspector was focused on finding evidence that we are still a good school since our inspection in 2014. The inspector graded us as good, but also reported that he believed that the school may have improved significantly overall.

We were then asked if we would like to retain the good judgement until the next inspection in four years, or if we would like Ofsted to come back to do a two day section 5 inspection in one to two years, where they will be looking for evidence that the school is outstanding.

We decided that we would like Ofsted to return in One to two years to do a section 5 inspection.
